The Magnisalis family has lived from the sea for four generations. Dimitris, captain and fourth-generation owner, takes our two boats out into the Saronic Gulf himself every day.
The fish we catch in the morning goes into our display the same day. Come by, take a look, pick what you like — and we'll cook it however you want it.
The year the Magnisalis family opened the first fish taverna in Kalamaki.
Dimitris Magnisalis carries on today what his grandfathers began, going out to sea himself every day.
OUR BOATS
Our name is also our work. A trexantiri is the traditional wooden fishing boat of the Saronic Gulf — and we have two of them, going out from Kalamaki every day. Whatever we catch goes straight to our kitchen, with no middleman.
The fish on your plate came out of the sea that same morning, on our own boats.
Four generations of the Magnisalis family, two boats, one taverna.
